Professional Experience
During his first three years with HSBC, Cooper worked his way up to co-managing one of the bank's fastest growing U.S. regional credit portfolios, with over $3 billion in loans and other financial products extended to over 30 businesses across different industries.
Cooper then moved to New York City to join HSBC's leveraged and acquisition finance team, where he worked with leadership teams at multi-national businesses and investment professionals at private equity firms to underwrite and market up to multi-billion dollar debt financing packages, primarily in support of M&A.
Through his experiences with HSBC, Cooper learned how to navigate complex projects with tight deadlines, manage multiple stakeholders, and lead diverse teams. He became intimate with a variety of industries and business models and internalized best practices for strategy and operations as he worked with leadership teams to solve problems.
Cooper decided to leave HSBC and pursue his MBA because he realized that his personal values were better aligned with a career path that was more entrepreneurial. He knew from his father's experience as a small business owner that entrepreneurship can be challenging but offers an incredibly fulfilling future. Through Paige Pond Partners, Cooper has found the opportunity to pursue this path as his future.

Personal Story
Cooper's passions in life and the pillars of his identity are his family, health and fitness, nature, music, and now entrepreneurship with the formation of Paige Pond Partners. His identity has been shaped by his parents and upbringing, his intellectual curiosity, his love for adventure, and his desire for personal growth and fulfillment.
His mother, who is a talented artist, gardener, and cook, has always encouraged Cooper to channel his creativity through music. Cooper's father, aside from his influence as an entrepreneur, instilled in Cooper a love for travel and the outdoors through many hiking and camping trips.
Cooper met his partner, Leticia, during their second week of orientation at Tuck. Together they have traveled to 14 countries, including Mexico where her family is from. Leti is working in management consulting at Deloitte in Miami, and she is excited to support Cooper as he pursues his dream of running a business.
Cooper's love for music started at the age of 10, when he discovered the drums. Since then, Cooper hasn't stopped playing music, expanding on his musicianship by learning the guitar and teaching himself how to sing. He has formed three bands over the years, including a band at Tuck, where he and his bandmates performed at over a dozen live events for crowds of up to 700 people. Cooper has produced multiple original songs, including one professionally mixed and mastered single "With All The Time," which is available on all streaming platforms.
